05 545i SMG reset?

Guys,
I'm new to this forum and first question is does anyone knows or heard resetting SMG transmission? I own 05 545i with SMG and i heard some people found ways to reset their auto transmission by themselves. So just wondering is it true if i can reset my car SMG transmission by myself?

Thanks for reply and i looked over the link you posted. It basically explain about M5 SMG but i was unable to find for 545i SMG. Again appreciate your quick reply with additional info. I will continue my research until find the right answer.
