Michael,

Do you have Hawk HPS pads on your car?

I have them on my car and I do not agree that these offer better stopping power than OEM. Less dust? Definitely yes! But not better stopping power. I searched this forum and few others and the general consensus on the BMW brake pads is to use OEM for non-racing applications if you want the best stopping power.

I had the Hawk HPS on my 545i and Porsche. Actually, my entire family runs Hawk HPS pads. Did you properly bed in the brakes? How old were the rotors?

Yep, it is a low speed issue only. You get used to it mostly, but it makes the car not an easy car to drive smoothly...especially for occasional pilots.
