My Ride: 2004 545i Sport

Hi folks,
I recently bought a 2004 545i with the sport suspension and sport brakes. When it comes to buying aftermarket brake pads and rotors, do I look for '05 and later M5 components? I haven't found anywhere that lists parts for the 545i with sport brakes.
Thanks!

Your brakes are standard 13.8 inch front rotors which are shared with 550 and 535. M5 brakes are WAYYYYYYYY different and wont fit at all. +1 for what health said

Sorry if this questions seems like thread hijacking...but, the brakes on my '04 545i have had me wondering ever since I purchase the car about one year ago whether or not they are behaving normally. The brakes are VERY touchy to the point of making it diffilcult to stop smoothly if not really paying attention. Almost seems way overboosted. Since I have owned the car, the brake booster was replaced under the recall and it made no difference. My car has the dynamic brake assist feature (or whatever you call it) that increase brake pressure during preceived panic stops. Could this be working improperly or the brake feel normal for 545i's?

That's how my brakes feel, DavidF. Very grabby feeling at very low speeds, and like you say, sometimes it's hard coming to a smooth stop. I thought maybe it was the brake pads. The brakes feel great any other time, though.
