I have my Mann engine oil filter and Castrol Edge ready to go and think I may go with Fords Mercon SP trans fluid via the discussions here. What is the consensus on the best diff oil to use? I just turned 89K miles, I do not hot rod or abuse my car and would like to have all three done at the same time, thoughts and opinions on the best oil that is available at a local retailer?

 

Any high quality synthetic 75W-90 fluid will work. I used Redline in all of my E30s, and plan on using the same in the E60.

RedLine or Mobil1 Gear Oil.

 

Thanks and I think I will go with 'Red Line' again. I started using www.hyperfuels.com a few years back simply because they are barely ten minutes from the house.
