Smile '04 525i to '08 535i?

Going to look at and test drive the following 2008 "Jet Black" 535i tomorrow. The dealer is asking $15.9K which is about $1500 over market price but if I can get a good deal with refinancing at or lower what I currently pay I may soon be boosted. My '04 525i has just under 91K miles and this '08 535i has just over 91K miles with a clean CarFax, thoughts?

15.9K isn't a horrible price... hopefully you have all the extra "options" .. sport would be totally worth it. It was impossible for me to find when I was looking. In terms of payments.. it would suck to have payments. Although if you're stuck now with payments, at least you're moving 4 years up. You might end up spending more, however, since it's a new car with unknown options. Forget about the idea that a boosted car you'll be modding it

Yep the price is reasonable and the car is optioned well over my current vehicle.

Just looked at those pictures...

They look like sport wheels.

The M5 replica spoiler is aftermarket.. so.. maybe the wheels are too. The rear window spoiler.. is definitely aftermarket..

So.. do you like it?

It seems the wheels are a "sport package" option. Concerning both rear spoilers they may or they may not be aftermarket simply because BMW allows its customers to "customize" their vehicles. The integration of the spoilers is OEM quality.

I drove the car on the streets and the freeway and loved everything about it but we could not agree on terms so I had to pass. I will wait another year or two and bring a huge "cash deposit" next time, which effected my deal.

Cars are my Kryptonite!

Thanks

Just wanted to add that every time I look at or drive my 525i I fall in love with her all over again so I am thankful that I kept her. The old saying "don't try to fix something that is not broken".
