I'm not a big fan of the N62. Very problematic engine, and power delivery is lacking. E60 M5 is very fun, but it consumes a lot of gas, and it is not the most reliable engine in the world (my friend had to get a new engine for his since he lost a rod bearing at 80k miles)

IMO the 535 is perfect for a daily driver, and it can be modded to be nearly as fast as an M5. HPFP isn't really an issue anymore. Look for one that had its turbos replaced under warranty (many did for the wastegates)

You can blow the doors off an e60 M5...
