<<CPO owners>>: What have you gotten fixed under the CPO warranty?

The CPO brochure is not detailed enough. http://www.bmwusa.co...ty/Covered.aspx

Yes, I understand and note that CPO excludes a lot of items.

Please share you experience. Thanks in advance and hope this topic is informative to others as well.

What up Jason, good thread. I would like to know what other members have had replaced under the CPO warranty also. Even though based on threads I've read here some repairs seem to be covered based on how good of a relationship you have with your SA, it would still be nice to have some idea of what might be covered.

I have had the diversity antenna, driver's comfort seat motor, and most recently the radiator all replaced under my CPO warranty.

Btw, how did you do in your tournament? Was the AZ sun hot enough for you?

yeah, good thread here. Mine ends this november and as long as it's not affecting the performance of the car, i'm gonna try and wait and do it all at once bc the dealers are straight up criminals. They charge $125 just to look at the car that they sell, how does that make any sense at all? So far I only have an active steering error msg which I think may be linked to the steering wheel position, it comes and goes and always goes away when the car is turned off. So far no other issues on the 07 550, thank god.

BMW replaced my steering column and motor because it stopped moving up and down. Over $2K job, done the week after my CPO warranty ended.

Thank you BMW.

On my last dealer visit they replaced my steering wheel switches due to the soft touch being worn. That's it so far.

Technically, it was one day before my new car warranty expired but my SA said it would have been covered under the CPO warranty if I brought in the following day with the $50 deductible. When I pushed up on my sunroof button, the sunroof would tilt up but the sun shade wouldn't move back.

They replaced the entire sunroof assembly. SA said it was about a $3,000 job.

Good thread Jason, in total I have gotten the following fixed under CPO (I am not counting wear items covered under my maint warranty):
Anti-trap fix - new window motors placed in my front doors
Passenger airbag sensor
A pillar trim, the fabric was loose when I bought my car

Thank you everyone for the inputs. I hope this information becomes useful.

My engine (N52) starting ticking yesterday on a cold start. It seems ok today, but I will be taking it in sometime next week. Appears that other members were successful in getting it fixed under the CPO warranty: http://forums.5serie...being-replaced/

I will keep everyone posted. Hopefully everything is covered under CPO warranty for this issue.
