Don't laugh but you might call your local airport FBO and ask if they will sell you some AvGas. My dad used to put it in my stepmom's 1970 Firebird and the result was pretty hot!

Whoa!!!! Gotta be careful! The 1970's Bird used a good ole Rochester carb and valves designed for leaded gasoline. The E60, with it's myriad of emissions control units and sensors, would be very unhappy buring fuel with concentrations of tetra-ethyl lead (TEL), a necessary additive in Av Gas. Since no viable replacement has been found for TEL, it's best to assume that all AV Gas will contain lead, and lead is the enemy of modern automotive engine management systems.

Also, in Mount Olympus that same night: white M5, black wheels with a white thin outter lip, tinted windows. Think the front plate was "Platinum Motorsports". Hard to tell, it was at night and parked on an uphill....

This morning spotted a Black LCI e60, non-sport, tinted windows, looks like 167 18" reps (or could have been OEM 19" due to the non sport height). Making a L onto Victory from Lindley (by Reseda HS)
