hey,
I'm new here, looking to get a few opinions on this wagon: http://tampa.craigslist.org/hil/ctd/2729988319.html
I'm in need of a new daily and I just love the body style and the versatility of wagons.
thanks in advance,
Michelle

It looks excellent, beyond the good detailing job on it you can see that there is very little wear on the interior for example.
Also no dead pixels for example which are a very common problem on these cars and a rarity.
If you don't need a state-of-the art car but rather an excellent, sturdy touring this might be a unique opportunity which you will enjoy for many years and miles.
These engines are very, very sturdy as lots of owners can attest to.
However, under all circumstances have it checked by an independent mechanic or BMW dealer if you're serious about this one.
Inherent problems with the E39 are few and very well documented, do some research on these and suggest these points to your mechanic for checking during your independent inspection.
Bottomline is: will it check out during independent inspections and are you willing to pay this money for admittedly a beautiful car on sight, if so.. go get it.
Good luck
