I bought this 535i to the Christmas 2008 to have a little project between my E61 520d LCI..

From the delivery.. Dirty and ugly..

From a big shine of the interior, engine and extriors..

That's a great car, especially with the V8.
I like the mods you've done so far, even though I was half expecting you to go for the Alpina look
Which do you prefer driving... ok, that was a stupid question
Thanks for sharing the pics, looking forward to seeing what comes next....

Beautiful job, I still think the E39 is the sexiest 5er of all. Love that blue color, isn't that Oriental Blue?

I really applaud your effort on this! Every time I see an E39 on the road (alot!) this type of project comes into my mind and I think I will start one up when I get more free time in the fall. I have no doubt that I will fall in love with the car all over again, but my biggest concern is how the car has held up all this time (from a mechanical point of view that is)

Thank you guys. I do really love the classic look of the E39 and i love the standard look in combination with an V8.. Everybody think it's an 520i..
The color is Biarritz blue metallic.. I love this color..
The next mod would be Hella facelift lights and black piano interior trim. More pics to come..
