Hi all wlist driving home on the motorway car was really flying no warning lights or odd noises when it started to slow down without me taking my foot off accellerator tried to increase speed but nothing so slowed right down and got home coasting most of the way took about five minutes just before home large amounts of white smoke appeared behind me. just switched off when i got home. In the morning it started fine and ticked over but on depressing accellerator it threw out massive amounts of white smoke and strange noises clearly something major has occurred looked under bonnett to find no fan belt. car has done 165000 miles is it worth repairing or even paying out to find out what is wrong ?? regards Terry
