Hey folks, just joined this forum. Had my 5'er since December last year, always wanted an e34, picked up a decent '95 525i 5 spd black on dove grey leather for a couple of grand last year. Planning on fixing it up once the gf and I move from our downtown condo to our new house so I have my garage again! Here's some pics of it after i first got it.

I haven't had a chance to take any pics since I really cleaned it up. I will try and get some soon and post them up. It looks a lot better now than it does in the pics. Needs a tonne of work right now, so far I have done lower control arms, front shocks and a STage II clutch and single mass lightened flywheel as well as e60-545 ss kit. Going to finish the rest of the front suspension next as well as drive shaft flex joint and centre bearing, engine mounts and then finally rear shocks and at that time drop it and put on the style 5's I will be picking up over the winter. Look forward to comleting this first stage by then summer of next year.

Thanks, interior is MINT esp for the light colour. All it needs to honestly be perfect is re-dye on the leather which isn't really that bad, but I want it to look new. Going to do it next summer. I have cleaned all the carpets and got two sets of carpet floor mats (one grey to match the carpet and black set for winter) that I got from the scrapyard and cleaned to almost perfect condition. Other than that very little rust and it has some bad body work on the hood that was done long before I got it. Doors are starting to rust on the lower corners they may be fixable not sure, but I keep spraying them with Rust Check for now to keep it getting any worse. I am really anxious to get the work done, but I want to do it myself and it's kinda hard in a condo garage! LOL So When I move into my house next spring gonna start going hardcore on a lot of the projects. I plan on getting the parts over the next few months so I'm ready to go!

Welcome to the forum!

My friend used to have an E34 535 with full Racing Dynamic upgrades like body kit, wheels, suspension, performance parts....etc.. It was gorgeous. I still love that body style. Actually I think I've loved every single 5 series body style BMW has put out.

Thanks guys. I have always loved all 5 series myself. Coming from the Acura world, finally got rid of my '97 TL to jump into the e34 world. (ADvantages of walking to work and having a girlfriend with a working car is that you can have a car like this to work on and afford to have it down! I plan on making this a classy e34 when all is said and done.
