e12 M535 M90 Ignition question
Hi, I am new to the forum.
I am fitting a M90 3.5 (actually from 1979 e24 635csi) into my e9.
I have engine, ECU, wiring, but no electronic ignition module.
The ignition module used in early e24 and I believe e12 M535 was a largish Al box (connector terminal in two rows of 3).
These are expensive if you can find them, and was wondering if someone has experience with replacing with one of the more modern / small ignition modules (connector in one row of 6).
thanks if anyone can help
