As the title say's,I have just purchased a set of auto dipping power folding mirror's from a seller on ebay,i'm sure they'll fit a pre 2005 model as mine is but wanted some feedback from fellow member's first. My existing mirror's already have heated element's,electronic adjust, puddle lamp's,i'm wanting to fit these as they powerfold,is it just a case of getting the switch and getting them reprogrammed? Her's a pic of the one's from ebay.

Thank's for that Bruce, could I just not get the window switch panel with the extra button from my main dealer and then reprogram using autologic as I have a very good BMW independent to program them in?

There is no single part number for the switch panel. The trim part comes with the panel attached on the pre-lci.

Well done getting this to work. I'm interested in this mod as well - how did you get the around the door switch. Were you able to buy the door switch from the dealer? If so do you have a part number?

Thanks - I appreciate it. Sounds like I would need to find one from a breaker or e-bay. Need to track down the mirrors too, but its good to know the mod can be done. According to the dealers it isn't possible to retro fit - I'm just glad someone understands how their cars work!! lol!!
