Dear Sir/Madams,
Please help me to upgrade myself a BMW 520d E60 from 02/2008 from navigation system that it have at the moment to one profesional. I need a step by step explication and if it is with photos then is better.
How to remove the front protection plastic of the unit, how to take out the old dysplay, I have cd changer, how to keep it? I have usx/aux wish to keep this too and the mp3 playing format too.
please I need help .. but step by step as I have a profesional navigation unit and dysplay and I wish to change this myself

this is mu business navigation (by the way, how to take it out without to brake the plastic?)
my business screen the smole one... need to be replaced.. but how?

My Ride: 2006 530 d M-sport e60
Firstly have you got the CCC fan harness and cable? for the pro nav unit.
Secondly have you got the iDrive high controller?.
Thirdly you will need to change your centre console trim to fit the new unit.
You will need these items, also once the job is done the car will need programming.

i have 2004 530i with 8.8 screen can i upgrade my idrive and get a backup camera
also i want to know my car gps located at the trunk is it normally im asking becoz my car is jap. specs

can you provide picture and part no for the parts that I need?(CCC fan harness and cable, centre console trim - what is it? how it looks like?)

OK no need to change the controller, this applies to pre-LCI cars. yours is an LCI.
CCC fan and cable 65836933200 £46.88
Centre console top trim for CCC 51456976362 £23.97
Bottom centre console trim I will need to know what wood finish that is as there is loads of trim finishes.

can you have a look in photos to see what wood is that?? and what is it part no and what else do I have to change?
do I need the microphone ? and ... another few thing that bmw told me that I will need? (like wiring set, wiring harn, cover, microphone .... from retrofit kit???)
