Trick adjusting headlights?

My Ride: 2013 535i xDrive AW/Black M-kit

Every time I try to adjust my headlights I always see a cutoff. Does anyone know a trick to get them perfectly leveled and where they're supposed to be? I asked the dealership but they made it worse.

no problem..

just an FYI:

I used the advanced search menu (upper right gray icon next to the search bar)
Find words: "headlight adjustment" (included the quotation marks to narrow the search parameters)
Search in section: Forums
Find in Forum: DIY

***4 threads came up pretty fast, the two I linked where the most relevant...
