Hi people,
1st post here, and wondering if anyone could help please.
After reading ALOT of info regarding aftermarket stereo uprgrades, i decided to embark on just installing a sub woofer and amp box (all in one type).
I have a recently bought a 2004 e60 530d UK, with the standard audio option so no rear amp.
The previous owner had phono/speaker/remote cables already running from boot to dash.
He has removed the rear speakers but left all the cabling which is nice.
The phono cables went to nowhere, and because there is no phono out on the OEM headunit, i have split them and soldered to the sub woofer connectrors on the back of the OEM headunit using this information.
DIN rear view
So from phono connectors in the amp, to 3-4, and 9-10. Is this right?
So, it's now all done, but all im getting on the sub is really low volume sound, like really low.
Do i need to get these output feeds updated by BMW as its a standard option originally.
Do i need to provide any more info?
Thanks in advance
**EDIT** - Thinking about it, these outputs from the back of the ccc maybe too low, and would be matched to the factory amp that would be fitting in a better audio option. Would it better to use the rear speaker signals for the output for the sum/amp??

**Edit x2**
I am going to use the rear speaker outs from the idrive, and install a
high low converter
high low converter to plug RCA into the amp, hopefully this will work!
