I have a rattle that seems to be coming from inside the trim piece that is right in fron tof the steering wheel. This is the trim that is around the ignition switch, turn signal lever, etc..

Does anyone have the process for removing it? I tried taking the screw in the bottom of it out and nothing happened.

Thanks in advance for your help.

There's a write up on this in the DIY section that can be found with a little searching, but as I remember, it goes something like this:

1. disconnect the negative (-) on the battery
2. Undo the torx screw on the bottom of the steering wheel
3. Remove the central piece with the airbag
4. undo 2 screws per trim piece to remove the trim pieces.

That^ said, I'd say, don't fvck with it, unless you really know what you're doing, cuz disconnecting the battery, not to mention the airbag ... you get the idea
