sport suspension question need advice

i want to put in new springs and just needed to know if there is any trick or something that i should know that will make this easier or if there are any warnings out there on changing springs that i need to know about before i break something. thx

Same process as every other spring. Since you're tackling this job, I would assume you've done it before. Just look into the BMW procedure before you do it in case there are "special" things they recommend. The front end is going to be tedious where the thrust arm and wheel carrier join.

If you dont weigh more than 200 pounds i would recommend having a friend near by. I had to put all of my body weight + a friends weight on the strut/rotor assembly in order to get the top of the strut to clear the fenders. I also had the spring compressors on so that will give you a good idea of how much force you need.
