I just installed footwell lights and I think this is very great DIY! Take time from me about 3 hours ? including thinking how to remove the panels etc..

Thanks a lot Bruce!

Added some pictures from the WDS to show the connections to the Body Module and the location of the plug that you are looking for. This also shows that the extra boot light is connected in parallel with the current boot light.

Another great DIY by Bruce
Thinking of doing this whenever I get some free time but just one question. When running the cables from the driver's footwell (car is RHD) to the the module behind the fusebox, can the cable be ran "through" the centre of the dash (behind the headunit) or does the HU need to come out to route that cable?

Can't edit the post for some reason.
Will disconnecting the 54 pin plug without the battery off cause any errors on the dash?

hu doesn't need to come out. And I don't think you get any errors if you pull that plug out. But always best to disconnect the battery when doing any electrical work.
