Thumbs up

I've searched through the forum to see if it's possible for me to reset the passenger airbag error without bringing my car to the dealer. I haven't found any threads that could answer my question so I decided to ask the public. The error came on when the plug near the seatbelt lock came out of place. I was able to re-insert the plug, but the error message stays on. I've only driven the car about 6 miles with the warning light on. I'll drive the car some more and hopefully the warning will go away on its own. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can fix it by taking my car.. there's no error message there. Of course u'll have to give me your car...

Sorry, but that darn error won't go away.. I had the same problem too..

Just go back and have the dealer take care of it. It should be covered under extended warranty and people have had lots of problems. IT was like $50 to fix / clear.

My guy had to replace the sensor in the seat.

There was a class action lawsuit on this matter at the end of last year. I was not having any problems but I did receive the letter in the mail. I brought my car to the dealer in December. There was no charge.

I never got that letter, so I'm just going to bring the car to the dealer and hopefully they can clear it at no charge.
Thanks.
