i plan to install m5 lower body side rails to me 07 550 sport. i hope to do the front and rear fender aero kit later. anyone have instructions on how to remove the rails. i see bolts on the bottom and assume there are clips behind but i'm not sure where to start pulling. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance,
jeff

Welcome Jeff!

I did a quick look for specific instructions but couldn't find anything quickly. I'll look some more maybe later when I have a few more minutes. In the meantime, the following diagram may shed some light on how things are attached:

The removal of the side skirts is fairly easy. Just remove the torx-bolt at the ends and remove the securing pins along the bottom of the skirt. Once all the pins and bolts have been removed from the bottom pull from one end of the skirt until the first clip snaps loose and continue pulling on the adjacent clips until the skirt is removed. You may want to have a few extra clips in case some break during the removal procedure. Good luck.
