Hi,

If I purchase:
  1. CCC Module
  2. DVD 16:9 monitor
  3. I-Drive Professional
from eBay, how difficult is it to alter the GPS Navigation from Business to PROFESSIONAL.

Is it something I can do myself, or is it more involved and requires a professional to install.

In the UK accessories brochure you will find a retrofit kit available for this. Check that out.

I suggest to update to the latest CIP, install CCC yourself, and bring it back to dealer for software retrofit.

What if I don't even have Business Navi? Can I still do a plug and play provided that I have the latest CIP?

How can you tell if you have Navi Prep? Any specific wires that you can look at? Also what are the absolute crucial components needed to intall Nav? I just want the big screen, possibly for videos, thats it.

Give the E60 key to your dealer and they'll read out what option your car has, and find out if you have nav prep option.

your dealer is very wrong... your car is very easy to change,,,u have all the wires, except the CCC and big monitor,,,should be an easy job, but parts will be expensive if from the dealer....

you already have all essintial navi parts from ur business navi... so u'll need the CCC and large monitor, and then the dealer can program the parts on your car... oh and i forgot... u will also neeed the I-dive knob, as in the pro navi, the knob is electircal unlike our mechanical knob,,,
