Has anyone replaced the grill of the E60. I just placed an order for a 2005 530 and I'm going to order the chrome grill which comes on the 545. Is this something I can do myself or do I need to let the dealer handle it for me.

Thanks.

Welcome aboard.
Yes, you can do it yourself.
Search the board for is, it has been discussed very often and the TIS information has been posted here too.
When you search you should find a couple threads regarding this.

My dealer did it before delivery and they did the changing for free. So I only paid for the grill (175 euros ouch)

Is there any websites, that you can order the grill for? I have a 04 525i - .. How much would it be around if i purchased it @ the dealer? Thanks!
u're in Cali... call up the parts dept for circle bmw and pacific bmw..

they've usually got best prices around.. but ask for it to be shipped..it's cheaper than picking it up from them..i dunno why but pricing is cheaper when shipped...

I called up a bmw dealership in riverside, California.. what a freakin prick. ' He said, do you even know why you would ask if we carried a 'chrome grill' cause he couldn't find it in the computer, and he told me to call back, with the part # cause he cant find it. When I go to get my service done, this tuesday, I will give him a little of what I know. Seriously, what are up with people these days, and there useless attitude. Even the way they talk, its like .. if you hate your job that much, why work there. Anyways, my point, anyone have the part # for the chrome grill? I have a 2004 525i - Thank You.
NEVER deal with BMW riverside.. they're incompetent, slow, and know nothing about BMW"s............

i went to school out there...and the one time i went out there..they tried to tell my my car isnt under warranty cuz of the modifications done to it.... f** them.....

the sales guy, Dakota i think, panties ripped when they saw my car tho..and was like.. hey..is that an ///M3........ needless to say i turned around and knew i had nothing to speak to them of..........................................

The guy was new there, but where did he find the internet price at? Didn't want to ask him, cause he was asking his other co-workers enough questions, so I didn't want to annoy him. Is this what any of you guys payed?

Those are good prices, I paid 105.20 each @ Crevier BMW.

BTW those part #'s are correct.
