Hi all, I'm about to replace a front wheel bearing and figured I'd check for hints and tips here before going at it. I know I need to remove the brakes so that's no biggie but what's next?

I can see the 4 bolts for the bearing but it seems impossible to get some of them out fully because of the shock. I can get to the bolts with an open wrench but my guess is it will not be possible to pull them out completely. Question is though if they will come out far enough to loosen the bearing?

Can anyone confirm if that's the case or if I really need to loosen the shock or even tear down the whole front end to have the bearing replaced? I naturally got new bolts with the bearing but could live with recycling 1-2 bolts and just add new loctite if it means a few hours less work.
