Anyone know how to remove the front drivers side wheel well? I know I saw instructions posted, I think a pdf by Rudy, some time ago but can't seem to find it now. Rudy?

I need to remove the plastic parts inside after removing the wheel to get at the sheet metal and inside from the other side.

Lomag,

I searched TIS for something concrete but it seems that the only instructions I could find related to the inner wheel well was instructions for replacing the entire fender, etc. There doesn't seem to be anything specific that depicts removing what I think you're trying to remove.

If it helps, here is a link to the parts diagram that shows the part. From it you can possibly determine the correct screws, etc. that need to be removed.

Sorry I wasn't more helpful...

Yep -- I need to remove part #17 in that diagram. The entire plastic thing. The reason is to fix something I broke

What in the hell were you doing?

Actually, it may help if you tell me what you are trying to fix since that's kind of how the TIS system works. You look up the procedure on how to fix something specific. If removing that part is part of the procedure, it'll give you the instructions.

PM me if you're not up to public embarassment and humiliation...I'll keep it in "the vault"...

Well, I put a dent into the wheel arch of that wheel and want to bang it from the other side to flatten it out. I hit the car myself in my garage when I was moving some things around. The paint is perfectly fine, just a small dent. *nod*

Bummer Mark. You may want to look into those paintless dent removal companies. I've never used them but I've heard good things about them.

Sorry I couldn't come up with easy instructions for removing the inner well. I'm actually thinking it's not something easy to do without removing the fender, etc.
