Did you simply remove the CDC and put that part number to connect the MOST cables to each other? You don't need clean cuts etc because your cables are already cut and put into the CDC socket all you need to do is remove it from the CDC socket and put it into the cable connector.
I think you are right on that, but the dealer made me unsure on this question by telling me they had to use very special equipment.
So I had them doing it for $60.

Yours kids can choose between AV1 and AV2 but what is AV2?
I'm working on a carputer running linux and mythtv, I'll post some pictures when finished.

What is that wire you can see in the glove box in front of the DVD? Where did you take the power from - the CDC power itself?
The wire you see on the picture is the CDC connector (fiber + power), before the fiberloop work was done.
As for the power I troubled a lot, I wanted a switched line and everything in the front fusebox i always hot. At first I thought I had
found the perfect circut where the flashlight was supposed to be, but there is some kind of logical charging components making
a lot of noise there (my lcds started scrolling). So I ended up with cabling from the fusebox in the trunk, on my car there is 6-7 switched fuses there

I also tried the CDC power, but the car kept telling me I had a powerdrain somewhere every morning

Very nice headrest mod Nitro.

What is the manufacture and model of the monitors? Planing on doing this myself.

Is the cables fitted through the headrest poles?
