Did you simply remove the CDC and put that part number to connect the MOST cables to each other? You don't need clean cuts etc because your cables are already cut and put into the CDC socket all you need to do is remove it from the CDC socket and put it into the cable connector.
So I had them doing it for $60.

Yours kids can choose between AV1 and AV2 but what is AV2?
What is that wire you can see in the glove box in front of the DVD? Where did you take the power from - the CDC power itself?
As for the power I troubled a lot, I wanted a switched line and everything in the front fusebox i always hot. At first I thought I had
found the perfect circut where the flashlight was supposed to be, but there is some kind of logical charging components making
a lot of noise there (my lcds started scrolling). So I ended up with cabling from the fusebox in the trunk, on my car there is 6-7 switched fuses there
I also tried the CDC power, but the car kept telling me I had a powerdrain somewhere every morning
