okay after all the advice, i would like to try to replace the rear upper control arms...

i've googled and tried to find something but i don't have any good solid instructions...

does anyone know where i can find some? or is anyone well-versed enough to help me with them?

I also need to know if there are any special tools i need to be looking for to get this job done.

I know this DIY question is a big request but i could really use the help.

worst case, go to ebay and buy one of those repair manual DVDs for a few bucks. U'll DEFINITELY need the correct torque specs. Remember to get an aligment afterwards!!!
