Hi,
I've just purchased the nextbase tablet DVD player, does anyone know if the rear 12v power outlets can be retro fitted easily, or if the wiring is already in place?
Currently I have the storage cubby hole in the rear and it would be much easier to plug the DVD player into rear outlets.
Cheers

I think someone else had tried this in a previous post. Unfortunately there is no ciggy lighter wiring behind the cubby hole or wood trim in UK cars, only in those for the US market
Iceman has had a second power socket installed at the front so it may be possible to do this in the rear.
Don't know if it is possible but you could source the wood trim and ciggy lighter sockets from the dealer (if available in UK) and run a branch from the front lighter but this is splicing into the vehicle wiring so beware!! May be something to discuss with your friendly BMW Dealer!
