Hi,

New user here looking for some advice.

I cannot open the bonnet on my 2003 530D SE.

Tried the release handle but only the right hand side of the bonnet opens. The left doesn't move at all.

I've taken the car to a non-BMW mechanic without any success.

Have any other users had a similar problem.

Will this have to go to the dealer?

Anyone know of this problem and how to resolve?

try usng 2 people. One to pull and hold the release handle and 1 to gently press down on the hood and then pull up on it
