So I have a distance sensor I want to install in my trunk. I'm no electrician, but sensor has a "Red" wire and a "black" wire. So power and ground. I need a wire(s) that I can splice to to power and ground the device.Anyone know of a wire colour I can use. Only one I've come across in searches is Green/Yellow and can't locate one in the trunk

Thanks for any help

Use a voltage tester on the cable of reverse light to know which wire is 12v and ground.
