Typical auto parts store...Ithink it was Dupli spray caliber paint (shake the can and hear the ball type)... It drys really quick. The whole job from start to finish is about 3-4 hrs, becuase of jacking, taking the wheels off, sanding/using toothbrush size metal brush, taping off the areas, and then putting multiple layers of paint. I probably did about 5-6 coats on each.

My advice get a 3 ton jack and use the BMW jack to push up one whole side at a time. If you do one wheel at a time, it will add another hour or 2.

I have very little patience and am not mechanically inclined and I have to say that this was very simple. Just takes time. You'll love the after effect.

GL!!

Looks good! I did the same, except in black. I also did my brake rotor hubs in black too because I was tired of them rusting!

Nice work and an good mod

I'd like to see pictures of that. Thinking of doing my hubs, but in Silver, and then the Rotors in Black. Gregg, nice job. I'm like you, buy and drive it! You didn't paint your hubs?? Mine are a bit rusted. What did you use to clean the calipers or did you just paint over them
