Hey guys,
Thanks to everyone's DIY instructions on the forum, I decided to spend some "me" time and do a little fun project on my car. So I decided to paint my grills matte black. I used a lot of layers and a lot sanding for the primer and a lot of coats of matte black (I used heat resistant matte black because i'm also planning to do my exhaust tips). I'm happy on how it turned out. It totally changed the look of my front (I can't believe it took me this long to do it). I know that it will eventually peel or fade. I'm planning to get grills from nerwyll in the future. I just wanted to have a little fun.
Hope you guys enjoy the pics... (sorry for poopy iphone pics)

Very nice result. That's how I feel about my painted exhaust tips also. If it peels, big deal, I'm out a few $$ for high-temp paint and some sanding/baking time. It's still a fun activity. Who knows, as careful as you were, you hight have no problems at all.
