My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.

Haha, oh yes, I will be needing some of those interior and licence plate LEDs here soon. The mod bug has finally biten me on this car

Nice kev, don't know how I missed this post, I might be doing the same thing. I've seen a couple of matte black ones, but they don't look like they fit perfectly. Going to go with a high gloss black.

Nice job. Any concerns of chipping from debris, going at high-speeds?

Haven't been any chipping or peeling yet, and I've been on a long road trip and through LOTS of rain. So I guess if you do it right, prime it up and paint it, you should be good to go

On a side note, I have found out that Stoner's MORE SHINE tire shine does NOT hold up well in the rain. Pretty much washed it all off. I guess it was heavy rain, but still, you would think it would have lasted longer.

If you will be taking a long trip just tape it with painters tape and you'll be good to go.
