Has anyone ever changed oil on their E60? I just did my first oil change on mine and that underbody looks awesome. everything is covered, then there's a small cover under the oil pan with 3 screws that holds it in place.

Anyhow, my question to those who had done this is how much oil did you have to use to top it off. I've put 7 quarts already and it still not topped off. Manual says 6.9 quarts.

After adding 7 qts, you need to wait for a few minutes before they all flow down from the engine components.

DO NOT over fill oil.

After you're done, reset the oil change interval as shown by some members here on forum. Please do a search: reset oil change.
