Fitted heated seat elements to my front sport seats and now need to wire them up to a +ve permanent and +ve ignition feed. Got an earth too but that can be into the body if required.

Can I tap into the elec seat motor feed or the telephone feed in the centre console?

Or is there a fuse board thats fairly easy to get at.

Cheers guys, hope you can help

I've heard there are some live feeds under the seats, below the carpet. Will check in morning.

Any luck with this? I also orderd Waeco heaters and would like to find correct wires to connect. Could anyone with WDS help? 9/2005 E61 in my case without cicarette lighters at the back (unfortunately).

Did you find the current wires under armrest or dashboard? Is there prewiring for electric seats or does that come only with cold weather package or comfort seats?

I remember you had another post about installation? I'll bump that up just in case if I can find it.

I ended up just using the 12v/cigarette socket for the feed. Has worked fine over the last couple of months.
