Anyone know if an electric sunblind needs coding? Was going through a trc file of an M5 with one equipt and couldn't find anything that translates into something that makes sense. Went through CAS and KGM.

So add $415 to the VO. Any idea which ecu I need to process if I need to, to activate this?

Default LM Version

Hi Guys,

Sorry to ask, but i'm a n00b when it comes to this! I've successfully managed to code the pathway lighting via keyfob option on my 2006/09 pre-lci. I'm looking at all the other LM options such as welcome lighting. I ran DIS which seemed to indicate i had LM2. Is there an easy way to confirm? I'm told some 2006/09 cars have LM2 but its standard from 2006/10. I Have xenons and ahl if that helps?

Also if i dont have LM2 and decided to upgrade, would it effect the Bruce Miranda LCI Light upgrade i have to the rear? or would i simply remove the conversion kit?

I'd also like to do Auto mirror down on reverse. Dont have memory or folding mirrors though? May upgrade mirrrors if i can find some at the right price.

Thanks

Mask no nav 03 build 545

legal notice - worked
close windows via fob - worked
bc digital speed - worked
high beams and fogs - worked. When I did this I selected LMA instead of CAS from the menu, then read and modified the LMA trace file. Did I do that right?
OIL_LEVEL acktiv - worked and showed graphic in I-drive but said "oil could not be read at this time." Maybe I need to activate another module as well.
AM band skip - didn't work for me. No NEXT_SOURCE in my MASK even though I do have steering wheel radio controls.
Windows open via fob but no sunroof - didn't work for me. no KOMFORTOEFFNEN_FB_O_SHD in CAS. Can I add this line into the CAS trace file? Or will it f* up the module?

Default Pathway Lighting via Keyfob

Sorry! One more question,

Has anyone successfully managed to use heimleuchten_abbruch to allow cancelling pathway lighting via key? When i enable it it just shuts the lights off within about 2 seconds, but the funtion will work to cancel the lights within that time.

With it disabled, the pathway lighting just lasts as long as the time set in I-Drive.

Thanks,
Adam

It Seems that with this coded, when I press the button to light the Headlights, the CCC wakes up momentarily, displaying the BMW logo. The BMW logo shows, then goes off at the same time as the lights.

I'm wondering if this a software version problem? I've coded Cornering Lights and Welcome lights into the LMA and CAPPL, they're working but no options in I-Drive.

Where do i find out the version? Can it be upgraded easily or is it a BMW job?

Thanks
