ACOUSTIC.

Activated this commando to aktiv in MASK. E60 2004. iDrive rebooted and coding went fine. Tryed to lock and listen.. But not a single sound. ideas?

That was a lot more things that was needed to be activated, only did ACOUSTIC, no wounder it didn't work out then.

You've done this? Can you confirm that it will work without any errors?

 

On early cars it needs the extra functions to work, on mine I only needed to activate "acoustic" for it work.

Uum, it really was a lame sound Feels like i'm locking/unlocking a Fiat Punto or something.. Well well.. Maybe the car got worth more for adding some extras to iDrive

 

Someone who knows which values to change if i want to change the unlock/locking sound? Or if it´s even possible?

 

Not possible, it seams to be very quiet on the early e60`s, on mine it is pretty loud.

 

Okay, thats a shame! What do urs sound like? Is it like a "biip" or is it more like muffled, almost like ur honking inside the car?

 

Sounds like the alarm sound which makes sense as it comes from the siren but just a short chirp.
