I did this out of curiosity and it turns out I like the way it looks better.

Just to goof around I am going to turn the eyebrow into my front turn signal...might look awful, but fun is fun.

Haha, I thought this was known already otherwise I would have noted it when I turned it off for two members over a month ago.

Something interesting regarding this though. For people with LM2, if you enabled welcome lights, the eyebrows will still fade on. If you do want it off entirely, it has to be disabled entirely in LMA module.

I like the eyebrow. I was trying to get it to come on with the DRLs like when the switch is on the parking lights.

You mean you're trying to make the eyebrows' be DRL as well?

Unfortunately, I don't think you can with coding, since there's only one entry. Might have to wire it

My eyebrows are now turn signals, haha - had to wire it of course - and they are not nearly as visible as I would like when the DRL or headlights are on (I saw that coming).

Wheres Bruce? I wonder if you could build me a couple modules that modulate voltage when the turn signal is activated. Kind of how the Audis do it - when the turn signal is on the LED DRL's turn to half brightness. If I could dim my AE's while signaling this may be a mod worth keeping - otherwise I'll keep it until LAPD decides I violated some DOT regulation.

Cool! Can you share some pics or even better a video? We'd like to see it. Unfortunately, eyebrows (with the stock bulb) are nearly invisible in a bright sunny day. Did you change the bulb?

And more importantly, is this possible without hard-wiring the cables via NCS Expert? I was told it isn't a few times here but I suspect you've tinkered with the LMA a lot (discovering the 12V angel rings) so maybe you found something related to turn signals?

I will take some video in my parking garage before i switch it back.

It is honestly one of the most unsafe mods I've done. I looks fantastic with the headlights off in a dark area - but that's hardly a realistic driving environment.

Without getting too off topic, but this is something I thought about doing. Except that I wanted the eyebrows to function normally as it does, but with turn signal activation, it would blink in conjunction with the turn signal and side markers. Unfortunately, I never spent time on it to figure out how it would be regulated.

Guys, 12V angel eyes found by Sublime is a hot mod. Maybe we can discuss it in the dedicated thread:

https://5series.net/forums/topic/111...3#entry1320453

Once the settings are confirmed by more members we can add them to the spreadsheet.
