After following the NCS_DIY.PDF



It was now time for coding the digital cluster for a try.

After doing a backup and restarting NCS as it was written on the pdf

I clic on read ECU and I receive this error :




How can I fix this ?

You're doing something wrong. ensure that you setup cable correctly and so forth and that you can communicate with INPA. Plug in your cable and close all programs open. Load the FSW PSW MAN profile then F1, F3, Back.

I see you were able to see your VO above so you're probably there. You need to read the KOMBI and then change the settings and upload it back to KOMBI

 

I did verified the connectivity between INPA and the car, what does "KOMBI" mean lol ? and what settings + how do I change them and upload back to kombi ?

Sorry for all this questions, lol I received the cable and software V41 that you've told me to buy achtung last monday,the package seems complete, but I'm new to all this ! just for example, it took me 3 1/2 days just to install all this, and yet I'm not sur if I did no mistake during the install, I think not, DIS, SSS progman and INPA can connect to the car, but it gives me a lot of pain, just to understand how it works

INPA already have the E60 in it,.. I have bought the V41, so I don't think I have to update anything.. How can I confirm that the version is up to date ?

 

Hi what is the problem? It is showing an issue with CAS2.C05 file. What are you trying to write to CAS? What are the dates on your daten files. Have you done any official change datum status on this vehicle at the dealer recently? If they hooked it up to ISTA it depends what version they have you may need to update to their version.

 

the problem is solved now (Thanks turboawd !), it was the daten files that was not up to date,,,but now I need to update Ediabas, cuz I having trouble with tool32...
