In my case my car does a lot of short trips and the stock pcv system cannot cope and I get a fair bit of moisture building up. I also like the idea of running PCV gasses through an oil separator to minimize the intake carboning.
Planning on doing a walnut blast anyway, and a new VC gasket isn't that much harder and good peace of mind. Tapping and plugging 6 holes before the walnut blast on each intake will also be pretty easy. (And prevents walnut shells going into VC via the ports now and in the future as well)
My only change os that I'm wanting to use a Provent 200 which won't like seeing pressure on boost so I'm going to run a check valve on the intake vacuum source to prevent that.
Not going to bother running a high side OCC just yet, but it's easy to add later if needed.
