M5 cluster

any one have info on the M5 cluster programing.. the dealer said the old program is now null and void.. the new one wasnt able to cheat it either..any new info would be helpful

Got my car back from the dealer after 4 days..They were unable to code my used M5 cluster.. Is it possible to do this with a used one? Any info would be helpful. I have rread every thread about this but not much info on the correct way to do this and what program the dealer needs.. Anyone?

If your dealer still uses the program called "ProMan" than it is 100% possible.If they udated to the newer version"IsIs" think that's called,then that won't work.But you can still swap out the chip and it will work. Look at the link posted above. That member has confirm it work. Above pic is from my car,which show it work

I dont know why anyone hasn't done this simple cluster mod yet..I mean simple..Remove the entire face from a used M5 cluster needles and all and replace it on the standard e60 cluster..THe speedo works 100% correct up to 90 mph.Really dont need to be doing faster. then the speedo is off by 10%..Fuel needle works 100% Tach is off by 5% but it works as well as the consumption guage which is codeable for the oil temp.. I will be doing that soon..No need to remove your now m5 cluster everytime to program the car..
