Not all of them come with runlfats. My 2008 535i did not. Perhaps in the UK they do. Check the make and type of tire. You can probably Google it to confim if it is a runflat or not. Or you can search here on E60.net.

 

True.. just check the side wall of the tyre.. if it says RSC in a circle then it is definatley a run flat.. hope this helps.

 

i'm in stoke on trent , 05 plate , 60k miles ?12,500 with FSH. its just the usual standard stuff , half leather (i prefer half leather to full as you don't get the saggy bum stretched leather over time) no sat nav which again i wasn't fussed about as i've read reports it slows i-drive down and is a bit of a pain to use.
am i right in thinking you need the nav to have the phone set up? i've got the phone symbols on my steering wheel but not tried use them or anything yet, as you can tell i'm still finding my way around the car as i've spent most of my time trying get the wheels off so i can paint up the calipers when i get time.
i don't know how anyone could drive these without the park distance control,what a godsend

 

they are run flat tyres.
however my sister has an ex boyfriend who is a nutter and slashed the tyres on my last car because she's pressing charges after he beat her up and threw her down the stairs. partly the reason i changed my car and now park it in my neighbours drive. for that reason i kinda like the idea of having a spare just in case. i'm sure i can find a spare on fleabay or somewhere.

 

anybody got any tips for cheap and cheerful mods that are easy to do before i start doing things more drastic ? a tasteful rear spoiler is probably next on my list.
