LED Angel Eyes For LCI Halogen Headlamps
I was making this for a customer since nobody makes these stupid angel eyes. Customer bought AIBS and it did not fit and the bulb is not H8. Wow, what a pain in the ass BMW made. So I cracked open the casing and made the holde bigger and fitted a 5 BIG SMD LED bulb for it. It was nice. It looked VERY VERY bright. I customer made wiring for resistors to be placed there. I used a 10 watt 10 ohm resistor but my car didnt like it and threw an error message. I guess I'll try a 10 watt 50 ohm resistor and see what happens. Anybody know what resistor is inside the LED angel eyes? I didn't want to crack open the LED angel eyes if someone knows.
Thanks!
Thanks!

This is for the LCI halogen ones? hmm I have a multimeter which u can use to read what current runs while the bulbs are plugged in. Then from there you can get the correct specs to get the right resistors. Let me know if u need some help. I think there are a few links on how to calculate it correctly. I'll find it tomorrow for you.

EDIT: Okay, I suck. I whipped out the multimeter with a blank. I totally forgot how to use this freakin thing. I am guessing a 10 watt bulb will need a 10 watt 50 ohms resistor rather than a 10 watt 10 ohm resistor then.
