Hi Guys

Just finished replacement the stock air filter with a K&N high flow. You may already know how it's done but what the heck, here are the step by step photos:

1. Unlock 3 clasps (red arrows), there are two alignment hinges (blue arrows) that are a bitch to get back into place when closing up the air box.

2. Loosen screw (red arrow) just a bit. According to another document Im suppose to also unplug the socket (blue arrow) but I didn't and it worked ok.

3. Lift up air box top cover (towards wind shield) and stock filter exposed

4. Pull out the stock and replace with whatever your dream desires

5. Close up air box top cover, remember the two alignment hinges have to be snuggly tucked in. Close the 3 clasps. Tighten the screw mentioned in "2".

6. Well, you're done.....sweaty but done (I hope )

PS Do let me know if I've made any mistake that you might think of, it's my first time doing this

Enjoy

I think everyone would like to know, does it help performance wise?

Their 24 HP claim (E46) sounds very tempting.

No, that was the working (or workman) gloves used everywhere in Hong Kong. Nothing to do with winter. Actually, Hong Kong winter is quite cold due to the moisture (humidity) in the air.

Thanks,
