ipod connections

I have looked everywhere without success. I need to get to the terminals on the rear of the head unit to install my ipod interface. Can anyone explain how to get the stereo out or at least expose the rear of the unit so i can install said connectors. Any help, pics or infor would be fab! e60 530d 2003
