What about the center piece around the shifter and door panels?
1. Remove iDrive knob by grabbing it with your fingers around the edge and pull it up
2. Pull up shifter boot
3. Pull shifter plate pull and disconnect wiring underneath
4. Use torx 25 and unscrew 2 torx screws that you see after removing shifter plate
5. Remove ash tray
6. Use flat head screw driver, covers with tapes to avoid scratching wood trim, and pry up wood trim bit by bit until you can pull it up with your fingers
7. While pulling woodtrim up nearby center storage, push in storage cover button to avoid scratch that button
8. After lifting woodtim disconnect drive button connector underneath wood trim and push up idrive control button to remove it
9. Slowly tilt up and remove the trim.
Rudy might post some instruction from BMW TIS.

2005.E60.V8.6SPD,
It may seem a lot of work, but if you want the trim, then do it, and do it yourself.
I know that the first time you take the trim off, it may take you an afternoon, because, quite rightly, you will be treading into the unknown. However, after you have done it the first time, you will be able to make the swap in less than an hour. I'd offer to do it for you (gratis), but you're a LITTLE too far away!!!
Remember if you're going from Wood to Titanium, you'll need the door handles as well as the covers.
