My Question is just purchased a 2006 530i......has bluetooth and idrive with the screen and what not but no navigation......whats the best way of adding navigation to the car???? thanks

My question:
When I floor it, I get a burning oil kinda smell out of my vents. Dealer can't replicate the problem, they tell me there is no leaks, no oil ring issue, no gasget problem, etc.
So what is it?

Weird problem...
When using the front defroster (heat does blow at full power) but when NOT using the front defroster, the heater fan doesnt blast at full, it stops a little before the 1/2 mark and doesnt go past.... People are saying bad blower motor, bad battery, bad resistor.... but no one is 100%... any thoughts sir?

The 12V coming into the socket is 12V switched. You would have to remove that and route a wire from a 12V constant line to it and you'd have always on 12V. Don't see the issue with this at all

Iceman is that true also for car in the USA, i have tried the unlock button and it works but mine do not roll up. It may be some type of liability thing here in the US but i will try again tomorrow when it is not raining.
