From searching around, the following line in diassembled HUD.C05 file, thanks to ncsdummy, modified as follows:
PARZUWEISUNG_FSW : {00003070} 00000002 000E 102E {62} (FF) {h} {} // DREHZAHL_KENNLINIE
NEW => PARZUWEISUNG_PSW1 : 0026 (00,5C,B5,9C,9F,A2,A5,D1,00,82,3B,2E,21,14) // wert_01
OLD => PARZUWEISUNG_PSW1 : 0026 (0E,3C,64,9B,9F,A2,A5,D2,B4,87,3B,2E,21,14) //wert_01
After modification, re-assemble and copy back to C:\NCSEXPER\DATEN\E60. Before copying, back up the old HUD.C05.
Read out current HUD TRC file and make it MAN file, then simply recode that file without any modification.
You'll see tach indicator is more responsive on HUD tach curve. However, here are issues cannot be resolved at the moment:
1. As the engine warms up, the red line is larger as opposed to smaller. This means the green range is smaller.
2. Red line on HUD tach is around 3000 rpm.
As you can see those parameters to be modified above are 32 and 24 bit respectively. NCSDummy cannot interpret what those are.
I'm welcome expert to chime in.

good stuff. This has been on my "list" of things to look into. I'll keep tabs on this thread if you are able to make more progress and I'll contribute when I can get to it.
Via my "miDrive" project I want to have the HUD display switch to this view when I press the "sport" button for the transmission or when I press the diamond steering wheel button to activate other options.
If you can provide any notes on how you got this far and determined what you should try and change that would help.
