Ok, Rudy , many thanks again...!
Now I see , It?s so simple to remove backrest.
Now I can feed some wires from trunk to cabin.
See you later: E60fun

I removed the back seat in my car very easily. You pull up the front of the seat and clips release. Look at photos from the Orange county drive up Ortega Highway. My daughter pucked in the back seat and I had to do a quick clean up. Their is a photo fo the back of the car without the seat in the Meet and Greet photos.

The back seat (bottom) is very easy. It gets much trickier when you need to remove the backrest (or backunit, as originally requested by E60fun)...

Hi again....!
About radio antenna...
Is it possible to disconnect radio antenna from OEM radio and
connect it to my aftermarket radio ?
In E39 it was suited....antenna amplifier was near of rear window.
Is that Ant-amp still here ...that I can use that antanna in my
aftermarket radio...?
Ok...see you later !

See if the following series of posts helps you out:

Keep in mind that I think the antenna connector is proprietary (Hobi may be able to verify) so even if you get access to it, you might need some sort of adapter or custom interface...

Ok, Rudy....!
That antenna assembly looks like in E39.
Adapter to antenna cabel is not problem.
Now I know almost all to that installation.
Maybe most difficult, is to install my own radio
to under cd-slot.
Now all the best ...see you later.

And I know, my english is very poor, so don?t laugh....hi !!
